at about 16:00hrs today heard on the scanner a Douglas Skyraider asking for permission to transit the LPL atz ,it was flying up the Dee estuary,did anyone see or ID this aircraft ? TIA
Just noticed a Skyraider was appearing at East Fortune Edinburgh airshow (Sat) maybe it was this one. groth

Think it is re-regged to G-RADR according to G-INFO and AvDb.
For info the US Navy Bu was 126922.

The plot thickens......
Did anyone actually see the Skyraider? 2 x reports on another forum are for a dark blue Skyraider seen o/h both Warwickshire and Southport albeit on Sat 24.07.
Latest photo of G-RADR on airliners.net is at Duxford on 12.07.10 and still in the silver/grey colour.
Any takers?
