Anybody know how many Beech 18 aircraft can be seen flying in UK?
I imagine most will be on the "N" register but I would be interested to know of any with a "G" registration, visible or not. I found one example on G-INFO, but suspect there are more around with N reg.

There is one (at least) that is (or was?) kept at Bruntingthorpe in a small hangar by Beech Restorations, G-BKRN in US Navy colours. G-INFO lists individuals as owners - they are 'Beech Restorations'. G-INFO shows a declared 'no flight' date of Feb 2020, so may no longer have a current CofA. When airworthy did attend air shows.
Others in the UK are G-BKGL, once a Duxford resident, has been in a USAAC scheme '64' - CofA expired 8/20 and G-BKGM with a CofA expired 10/19. While G-ASUG is firmly grounded and has been in the East Fortune Museum of Flight for many years - an aircraft that once-upon-a-time visited Speke as one of the first aircraft operated by Loganair. The only preserved Beech 18/C-45 in the UK.
There was another well known Beech C-45, G-BSZC in USAAC cols as AF258, flown widely around airshows by AA.Hodgson and kept at his North Wales strip - but that went to owners in Ireland and then canx by the CAA 8/16 as sold in the Czech Republic.
So none of the 3 UK registered potential fliers appear to have a current CofA (or equivalent). I know nothing regarding non-UK registered Beech 18/C-45s in the UK, though hopefully others here might.

Well in my opinion that's NWAN Forum working at its finest, well done all - 7 hours from the initial enquiry and photos of all three British registered recent and potentially airworthy Beech 18s illustrated. Had a feeling that two of them were associated with Bruntingthorpe, just couldn't prove it for my earlier post.
It must be several years, or more, since I was last aware of an American or French one in British skies (North Weald?) - never been a numerous type in Britain over the past few decades. Ah, while typing this information news of a US one in the UK has been posted.
Not the only thread today that has been providing answers to an obscure question either, so as stated in the first sentence, a well done all round from Admin.

Thank you one and all for brilliant photos and answers. Yes, this is a great forum. Always my first port of call. I am engaged in a bit of research which I hope to complete in a month or so, and share of course.
