Strange goings-on at Denham. Not heard about this before and it seems odd for a posh area like Denham to be attacked in that way. I see that G-ASEP was owned by a company who provides models for car shows and such and I wonder if they had a dispute with one of their customers! With regard to N666VK, the owners may be regretting their choice of registration. On a more serious note, it only makes access to airfields even more difficult - let's hope those responsible are found and severely dealt with.

Yes very sad, Denham have always been onside, seems strange that as previously mentioned that this type of thing should happen there. Hopefully they will get to the bottom of it, seeing someone has already been locked up. But these things seem to becoming more regular in this country of ours, you just need to see some of the things that have happened up our neck of the woods in recent times, such as the attack on the Merseyside Police helicopter and the setting fire to the Enstrom at Barton a couple of years ago. Not so happy days Bob

for a posh area like Denham
Hidden in the woods, just a stone's throw away is a mobile home/caravan park and there is plenty of social housing the other side of the main road which has quite a few "rough"and chav characters in residence. The "blackbirds" pub is also extremely rough.

Odd statement.
There are very few Council estates. Practically all Housing Association administered now - a change made under both political parties. Social housing covers both very adequately.
Pretty pointless discussion.

I used to live within a few miles of Denham for 20+ years.
Those estates I refer to, were part of my patch as both a bailiff and recovery officer.
Certain roads you would not leave a half decent car on. The vandalism was rife.

Well the Denham I used to know is pretty much as described in the wiki entry: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denham,_Buckinghamshire Obviously things have changed, and not for the better!

Thanks for the clarification, buspilot. Interesting that the media always comes up north when they want to show an example of 'sink estates', when they've got them right on their own doorstep!
Incidentally there was outrage on several other forums when the police helicopter was attacked at Woodvale - but not a word about this so far.
Anyway back to the OP. Let's hope the TVP apprehend the little scrote(s) as soon as possible, and the whole thing is nipped in the bud.

It wasn't a random attack - the owner of N666VK used to own G-ASEP and the arsonists didn't realise he had a new plane !
It all centres, allegedly, around a dispute between rival 'security' firms and their, ahem, dealings.

The attack wasn`t random then so on that assumption I doubt other owners have much to fear.
