A late goodbye from Cliff....

Hi all,
Just thought I'd make a quick post to let you know why I haven't frequented the GA carpark at LJLA; No, I haven't had a court order.... I've "relocated", now living in Whitehaven in Cumbria. I was medically retired from the ambulance service in August, sold the house and upped sticks. I miss the gang at the Tuesday and Friday club, not to mention a serious lack of anything aviation related, but it's great up here, a different way of life.
I hope you are all well and coping with the ongoing covid debacle.
I shall be back in Liverpool briefly soonish, so I will try to arrange my return to coincide with a morning at the "new" Meerkat Mound.
Meanwhile, take care chaps.

Very nice to hear from you, Cliff. We were getting concerned at times and then we heard that you had left the Ambulance service.
I hope everything works out OK for you in Whitehaven. Plenty of opportunities to go mountain climbing, boat watching and playing golf, god forbid

Hi Cliff, great to hear from you. As Brian said, we were concerned for a while, but then we found out about your retirement. It would be good to see you if you make it up sometime soon. You have moved to a nice part of the world, with lots of potential for relaxing, scenic walks…,not jealous at all.
