According to my, admittedly out of date, airport codes book, airport code CGY is Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental (RPWL) in the Philippines. Suspect this use of CGY is a personal short-hand for Conningsby (EGXC)at it looks rather like Tattershall Castle Tower in the background.!
For information CWL used the other day for Royal Navy Hawk shots is the code for Cardiff (EGFF). Or is it? Cranwell (EGYD) resident units use radio call-sign tri-gram 'CWL', but that is not an airfield identifier, again looks like a personal short-hand, rather than an industry code.
