It's been thrilling to see all those Covid material flights coming into LJLA but I cannot help wondering why such simple stuff cannot be made at home especially after two years of this pandemic. I am fully aware that production processes cannot be turned on overnight not to mention the ready supply of materials. Has anybody noticed any changes in the supply of these items in the last two years?
Over here in France, President Macron of whom I am not a great fan, by the way, acknowledged we had been caught out and vowed to change it. I can see visible evidence of the changes although it's true we still import some stuff. It goes further in that we discovered almost the whole of the world's supply of basic drugs such as paracetamol is made in India and China. Macron has changed that too . A new plant to make that stuff has just been opened. Not knowing exactly what is the scene in the UK I just wondered if anybody had any comments about this.
