Qatari Typhoons ZR505 and ZR508 went up again today, for their third and second flights respectively. The light was much better than it was during my previous visit (9 May). I think the two-tone grey scheme is much better than RAF plain grey. The pilot was kind enough to take off with reheat in ZR508, and gave it a 1,000 mph-plus thrashing over the Irish Sea. A Bulldog did a few circuits earlier in the morning.
