6 hour trip to LHR yesterday (the g/f's idea, so couldn't say no!!)
of note (well to me anyway were the following) I made 14, so was happy. 12 noon till 6pm.

a couple of quiet moments, but in all a good day, warm and sunny, but quite windy. on 27R before 15.00, 27L afterwards.

Some nice frames there Bob, unusual to see an SAA 747 at the 'row nowadays!

Thanks Silverback for the reply. The SAA lump was a surprise, and to be honest, I didn't even notice if for 3 hours till we drove around at 3pm on runway change and I saw it parked outside one of the hangers with 2 340's (as you probably know there are usually 3 x 340's on the routes!) and was a bit of a shock to see it. but a pleasant one Also present was the THAI retro liveried 747 which looks good and pity I couldn't get a pic of that. I also forgot 9V-SWA B777-300 was in, I missed it Manchester last week, so was chuffed with that
