These are shots taken during the tour mentioned in the previous thread. Many are through glass so apologies for the slight reflections. The driver would stop regularly and open the bus doors so that photographers could take pictures (though not get off the bus itself). I should say that the tour itself is conducted entirely in German. Thanks for the kind comments. I have to say that while the addition of the fencing on the terrace is a nuisance, itβs outweighed by the much easier access and re entry to the terminal facilities.
The tour was really enjoyable and at one point I thought it was going to stretch beyond the planned two hours (it was the last one of the day!).
Perhaps worth pointing out that the tours only run at weekends outside of the holiday season so do plan ahead.

Great report and pics. I'll be there in September so will look at the tour. Regarding the fence on the terrace, is it possible to zoom through the mesh or is the mesh too thick? I'll be staying at the Intercity on the far side, I've heard there's a fence and light poles put up on the far side viewing area too.

This is the new fence on the viewing terrace, there are some holes spread out along the fence where you can poke your camera lens through to get clear pictures. Hope this helps Ste

It is possible to shoot through the fence if you have to, especially at stuff in the distance - for example all of the photos looking towards Terminal 1 (like the example below) were taken through the fence. Closer in the fence can start to show up as a dark blur. 7BB9033C-A14F-49DE-B57D-EE85DC6FF68E by Andy Hulme, on Flickr
