Hi All,
I see in the NOTAMs for EGGP that "Exercise Orion" will take place on the 7th September. The NOTAM goes on to indicate that multiple helicopters will be operating in the Liverpool area.
Researching this on the interweb reveals that the exercise will test UK emergency services response to multiple large scale disasters.
Is anyone aware of LJLA's involvement, if any, and any possible movements?
Regards, Garry

Quick google search produced
"Firefighters in Merseyside are to take part in the largest exercise in UK fire service history next week.
Live exercises will unfold at the Birkenhead Tunnel and MF&RS’ Training and Development Academy in Croxteth, as fire crews take part in a national tactical exercise aimed to test the UK’s response to a catastrophic earthquake that simultaneously hits several parts of the country.
Lots of activity, noise and smoke is expected at the two main sites that are hosting live exercises from 9:30am on Tuesday 7th September. The exercise will continue for up to 48 hours and it is hoped that disruption to residents will be kept to a minimum."
