This turned up in front of my flat today, it sneaked in during the mist and low clag and anchored at Burbo Wind Farm  Does this mean they are planning adding more of the dam things  or that this one has a technical problem.   |

Thanks Dave I forgot about the AIS site. I hope it is just repairs. They seem to spend most days doing that anyway since they got erected, this just looks a bit more serious.

From what I've heard, these things don't seem to have a high reliablilty rate. I don't know whether it's because of the operating conditions, or the fact that they were not trialled properly before they were put into service, but they seem to give a whole new meaning to the expression 'high maintenance'!
