Hi, We visited the Gatow museum while we were stopping in Berlin, we were first through the gates so we had the outside exhibits to ourselves, plus perfect weather. It might take me awhile to go through all the photos so I will split it the posts into sections WF382 Vickers Varsity T.1, Royal Air Force by ian531531, on Flickr 28+48 Aero Albatros L-39, German Air Force (Ex 170) by ian531531, on Flickr 99+12 Fiat G-91 R/3, German Air Force by ian531531, on Flickr 99+33 NA OV-10 Bronco, German Air Force by ian531531, on Flickr 208 Ilyushin IL-28R, East German Air Force by ian531531, on Flickr 208 Ilyushin IL-28R, East German Air Force by ian531531, on Flickr XN730 English Electric Lightning F2A, Royal Air Force by ian531531, on Flickr WV865 Hawker Sea Hawk FGA.6, Royal Navy by ian531531, on Flickr 61+17 Breguet Atlantic, German Navy by ian531531, on Flickr 61+17 Breguet Atlantic, German Navy by ian531531, on Flickr Ian

Thanks Martin, it is well worth the visit It was an easy drive from Berlin, we were the only ones there for ages and it’s free
The only problem is the amount of aircraft in storage and not on display including the 2 Hansa jets that they have

Ian we went to Gatow nearly eleven years ago and there was an area visible from the flight line that had about a dozen aircraft in open storage that included 1626 MBB HFB 320 Hansa Jet ECM. Did you not see 8308, the Weserflug H21 Shawnee? The flying banana helicopter. Beemer ,

Hi Brian
No, that was another I was hoping to see but it must be in storage
There was a few aircraft in open storage, but nothing exciting
