The Gulfstream N909JE is parked on stand 40 and has remained on the radio enquiring about weather at all the London airports. It is unlikely to stay on the ground at LPL for very long.

Hi All
Planeplotter is showing ZS-RSG a C130 Hercules as on the ground, can anyone confirm it's arrival.

For anyone who missed it at LPL earlier,Mustang N324HS landed again at 1440.
Phil,I was looking across towards the main apron from the 27 approach mound at about 11am and saw no sign of a Hercules. If anybody finds it in,please report!
Cheers,Keith

Black Hawk on Go-around 09 at 1358, probably a T.2, but I only got a glance at it as it sped away.
Two minutes later a smaller biz-jet departed 09.
Then I got to the GA CP and onto the 27 mound - both devoid of meaningful life, so no one could tell me what I had missed!!
On the GA the US TB-20 Trindad there at the weekend has gone, with A.109 EI-NBG roughly in its place and G-SKYV PA-28R near it, no visiting biz-jets at the time I was there. No stealth Hercules evident either.

Tonight's Stockholm flight, with me on board, was flown by EI-EMB.

Viscount,
Your smaller biz-jet that departed 09 around 2pm was Citation Mustang N324HS on a demo flight.

Hawk was ZK021 did 2 GA's followed by a right turn and 400ft lowlevel down the Mersey towards the bar, biz was N324HS, pic is of ZK021 - made a c--k up with the settings, pic was taken from New Ferry Esplanade.

Many thanks Dovermire for providing confirmation that the Hawk I saw was a T.2, and the regn of the diddy biz-jet.
I find the situation regarding the Hercules puzzling. Is planeplotter prone to 'ghosting' flights? While 09 arrivals don't have to pass over the Runcorn photo point, it seems strange that an aircraft the size of a Hercules gets in and out of LJLA unseen/unheard in daylight. A smaller aircraft can park unseen on the main apron, now that there is no landside view from the terminal, however the tail of a Hercules is hard to hide! The fact that this particular Safair Hercules is currently UK based, makes the visit quite probable - will we have to wait until Dave Graham's monthly visitor log listing to find out if planeplotter is right or creating imaginary movements ?
