Hi all, I'm hoping someone might know the answer to this one!!!!
Why are N810FR and N813FR going for parting out and scrapping? They are only c/n's 3110 and 3163, so pretty recent frames!!!
Over to you guys!!!
Thanks
John

John, N801FR-807FR were delivered between 2003-2004 808,9, 10 and 812 (CN3163)were delivered in 2007. Apparently low demand on the aircraft means they are more than likely worth more in spare parts. More money to be made utilizing the A319 and A320 the latter of which are still being delived Apparently 809FR was the first one to be parted out. Sad that we will not see these aircraft again and there fantastic colourschemes. Frontier are also getting/have had delivered Embraer 190's may be another reason for scrapping the A318's Operated by Republic Airlines for Frontier Airlines.N174HQ-Badger "Buddy" N175HQ-Canadian Goose "Lucy" FOUND ON NET -FRONTIER NEWSFrontier Airlines (2nd) (Denver) in September 2010, will remove four 120-seat Airbus A318s and one 76-seat Embraer ERJ 170 aircraft from scheduled service. Three of these aircraft have been sold to third parties and two will be returned to their lessors. Beginning in January 2011, Frontier will accept the first of six new 162-seat A320 aircraft. All six aircraft have firm lease financing arranged and will be arriving during the first two quarters of 2011. In conjunction with the fleet changes, Frontier also announced the suspension of service between Denver and Rapid City on September 7, 2010, and the seasonal suspension of service between Denver and Boise from December 1, 2010 to April 17, 2011. Sad Sad Days Bob
