Any shots of 757 or 767s on old apron would be good? Was the 767 in old Britannia colours?

Best way to answer the recent post is with a few photos. The two shots of G-BKVZ in early 1984 unambiguously show clearly that although at Liverpool on crew training details it did park on the finger of the old apron. Rather a lack of other aircraft about though! Scanned from prints found in the nwan collection. The scan from my transparency is an early morning, en route to work, shot of G-BLKV in May 1985 having positioned in to take out Everton supporters to Rotterdam. Main excitement that morning was created by the first visit by a Boeing 737-300 (of Orion), of which I have several shots, but just the one telephoto shot of the B.767 parked out on a finger apron. Scanned and posted by Beemer on behalf of Viscount.

Trumpeter,
There were not that many Boeing 757 movements on the north airfield, calling at the north terminal. Not looked up the specific details, but could quickly find that the aircraft involved were:
1983. First visit of type fell to Monarch and G-MONC on 26.9.83, a Manchester fog divert.
1984. Two aircraft, both of Monarch, G-MONB and G-MONC visited during the year.
1985. Seven different aircraft visited during the year: British Airways with G-BIKH and G-BIKP, Air Europe G-BLVH, G-BPGW, and Monarch's G-MONB, G-MONC and G-MOND.
1986. Upto 10 different aircraft during the 12 months, most presumably after the move to the north terminal: British Airways: G-BIKC, G-BIKD, G-BIKG, G-BIKI, G-BIKO, G-BIKR, Air Europe with G-BKRM, G-BLVH, G-BPGW and Monarch's G-MOND.
After March 1986 and the closure of the north airfield terminal some aircraft at times of recieving diversions were parked on the north airfield runways and aprons due to the lack of apron space on the south airfield. All passengers used the new terminal though. From memory mainly BAC.1-11s and an Air Malta Boeing 720. Personally don't recall Boeing 757s on the north after 3.86, but I could be wrong.

Great to see the 767 on old apron, modern livery and old terminal don't match! Anyone any shots of 757s as discussed on old apron?
