My aviation wondering days have almost collapsed, Covid certainly didn't help - I've been lucky I’ve not been touched by it, a spinal operation Dec 2022 also didn't help, however Hawarden traffic using R22 occasionally allows me to take some images from my home, which is almost on the Hawarden ILS approach. THe images below where taken using my Canon 80D camera - last used in May 2020, my other camera a Nikon D500 camera, sits on top of my printer with the Nikkor 500mm zoom lens permanently attached waiting for action for R22 Hawarden arrivals. Anyway, decided to visit Blackpool airport on the first day of Blackpool having an air display along the waterfront, weather forecast was rubbish for up to 13:00 and then clearing, I took the plunge and drove up to Blackpool from home in rain. The weather did break around said time and I was able to take the following pics from beside the runway, not having used the camera since said stated date my retained knowledge of the settings where a bit vague, a lot of images where not used as the focussing system was not properly set up - since sorted after returning home and watching a couple oy YouTube videos for said camera, the lens I used was the Canon 100-400mm zoom (early version). Nice set Dave. I was parked a bit further to the west than your location. Nice relaxing way to spend an afternoon.
Cheers
