We were due to fly back from the States with BA, on the evening A380 flight via Heathrow. 24 hours prior to departure, in the middle of the Blue Ridge Mountains we received an email advising that our original flights had been cancelled and that we had been rebooked to depart 24 hours later, with Iberia via Madrid! Anyway, we had a couple of hours in the BA Lounge before catching the flight. As you would expect for Dulles the dominant carrier is United (along with United Express). The first two images were taken from the room in the hotel we ended up overnighting in and give an idea of the volumes of United traffic.
