I was able to get away for a few hours to visit this museum, it is located alongside Don Muang airport, which is an important RTAF base for VIP and cargo squadrons. Additionally, there is a lot of RTAF infrastructure around the area, and lots of other wrecks and relics, within walking distance of the museum, please see below the report. I used the website, www.spottingmode.com , which is an excellent resource for all manner of wrecks and relics everywhere.
As we were staying in central Bangkok, it was either a Grab taxi or the BTS Skytrain....as I was time limited I went for the taxi, 40 mins each way and £17 return, the traffic was horrendous ! BTS is good but takes 90 mins each way but is only £4 return !
The Thai registration system is complex, with many separate IDs per aircraft, I'm hoping all are correct below following many hours of research.
