I am looking to buy a new bridge camera. I cannot justify the cost of a DSLR as I will not get the use from it.
I currently have a Sony Cybershot. The 67 x Zoom is excellent but it refuses to focus at all on anything from the mid-distance backwards, so snapping pictures of aircraft passing over my home is currently impossible. It's also quite slow, taking just 2 shots per second on constant shoot.
I cannot fault the zoom for quality or sharpness when taking photos at the airport.
So please can you recommend a bridge camera that has at least a 60 optical zoom and a good distance focus. Under £400 if possible please.
