Complete no-flying fog this morning, but "Rescue 936" managed to find the 26 runway end after an ad-hoc approach. This appeared to be for an urgent patient transfer to Liverpool. The Isle of Man hospital helipad at Nobles is on high-ish ground which sometimes puts it above the cloud base, and in another recent patient transfer at night the helicopter landed on Douglas beach to meet the waiting ambulance.
