There are a lot of W&R around the city and all within walking distance of the central areas, apart from Cu Chi Tunnels, which I would highly recommend for a visit.
Independence Palace 26 March 2024
69-15445 Bell UH-1H Iroquois Vietnam Peoples Air Force sited on the roof of the Palace
73-1638 F-5E Tiger II Republic of Vietnam Air Force
You will note that the picture of the UH1 has two circles by it, these are the impact site of bombs dropped by a South Vietnamese F-5, whose pilot was from North Vietnam and infiltrated the South Vietnamese AF.

War Remnants Museum 26 March
A really good museum, that provides the Vietnamese perspective of the War, and also their struggles against the French. A very humbling and sad story in some parts of the museum.

Cu Chi Tunnels 28 March
We arranged a guided tour of this site, as it is currently run by the Vietnam Army, and is about 90 minutes outside the city. However, don't return during rush hour! I've never seen so many scooters in my life and it took us nearly 3 hours to return to the city. You can also shoot guns here if you're that inclined. There is also another UH1 here, however I didn't see it as the guide wanted to get us back and I could only see the Migs through the trees !

Considering it wasn't a spotting trip I did get quite a bit in, I would highly recommend a visit to Vietnam, people were lovely, food was amazing and it was cheap, once you're there. If anyone wants any further info, then please drop me a DM.
