An early heads up from a good friend down south got me on the road early for the 4 hour drive up, (thanks Roger). Due to traffic once I got close to PIK, they were already on the deck when I arrived, I knew it'd be tight when I left home. But as the info was a quick gas n go then to Keflavik, I got myself positined up on the hill. Pretty much on time, the lead aircraft called the tower, requesting start for KEF. Engines started and they were clear to taxi. What is the 'back-story' behind the origins of the BAe. Hawk T.2s?

Viscount Ex South Korean air force aircraft, and now owned and operated by RAVN a civilian redair adversary company.
They'd been at Lakenheath a few months, and I'd not had the chance to go down to shoot them. So when I heard they were homeward bound....and not working on a Monday it was a quick decision!!
