Views of Liverpool from 34th Floor.

I was lucky enough to be treated to a free meal in the Panoramic 34 restaurant last night for my big sisters 70th Birthday. Pretty scary that she is 70 next week and is only two years older than me. How can that have happened , I still fondly recall MAS coach trips to Heathrow. Us all being nabbed by plod at Southend. Getting a touch drunk many times in a tent at Leuchars. British Midland pleasure flight in a DC9. ATP to Finningley. Taking MAS stall to a show each week. aaah nostalgia, what other main highlights can anyone recall??
Anyway , it was a lovely evening to watch the sunset, so while the other party members were eating, I went round taking photos. To be honest if anyone has ever been to the restaurant, fantastic setting, excellent service, crazy expensive food and you come out starving! No particular order just enjoy the view like I did

As a mere youngster compared with you (less than a year in honesty) its funny how we can remember 40/50 years ago but hopeless on last week! Great pics of our City. 

On the nostalgia front I was probably with you on many - certainly the drunken Leuchars episodes- but would add in early morning departures to see B52s at Heyford or Marham which may or may not have been there, The Dak flight to Leuchars, the 748 to Biggin and most definitely the Concorde trip on Grand National morning. To this day very few believe that one! And dont get me started on MAS stalls evey weekend. Great times. Trust you are fit and well

I had forgotten the Concorde flight, down to Heathrow on a BMA F27 if I recall. Dak to Leuchars was another good one. Happy days
