Nice pictures and a good place to visit. It is a few years since I was there, maybe 10. My first visits were about 30 years ago. We used to fly in a PA-28 (G-BASJ) from Wiltshire and spend the day there. We could park right near the beach ; just over the dunes, so easy to take our picnic and spend the day there with our two children. Good memories. RT

Nice shots from an airfield which offers numerous vantage points for taking pictures, unfortunatley I dont think I will be able to visit Caernarfon this year

Am I right in thinking that the late Jim Keen was involved with the setting up of Caernarfon airfield back in the 1960's.? For sure he was involved with a lot of activity around the time of the investiture of the Prince of Wales, whenever that was, and I think that an Aztec or Apache was doing a lot of flying to and fro.
