Hello there I'm planning a trip to the above places during January next year , has anyone been recently who can give any info regarding hotels (room numbers) and what security are like with people spotting / taking photos. I will have an SBS with me so again if anyone has any experience of travelling to the above with one . Main concern is Jakarta although information regarding any of the locations is welcome thanks in advance Nick

Hi, been to all three many times,KLIA photography is totally illegal outside ie when boarding, but is ok from inside the terminal,I think there is a viewing gallery of some sort in the main terminal, but I have not been there,if you are flying Air Asia, they op from the (LCCT) Low cost carriers terminal which has a free shuttle from KLIA main terminal. At Singapore there is a viewing gallery in terminal three ,where you can see one of the runways but its set back and has two lots of glass to look through but you can see aircraft ok,again photography ok inside the from terminal, but not outside if you are not on an airbridge, Jakarta, there is a viewing gallery outside on the domestic end of the terminal but I think photography may be a problem, but I have never seen any notices to say you cannot take pictures.
You might want to consider going to Singapore Selatar for bizjets etc,and Kuala Lumpur Subang, which has some domestic flights and executive jets ga etc both are easy accessable by public transport. send me a pm if you want details
have a good trip,I was at two of the above airports last week, best regards Calflier.
