;D Quick trip to Toulouse with the caravan--trip around A380 shed(no photos) and a walk in the prototype Concorde.
Twin runways and I got between them for the shots--some ok others a bit ropey. Met a rare animal--a French a/c spotter and what a nice guy--loads of info re the comings and going of the Airbuses.
Photos speak for themselves--enjoy.

I was under the impression that the Toulouse derelict Jetstar was 3C-QQU, which once in 1985 (as N917J) visited Liverpool. Even the youngest Jetstar is 32 years old! 'Hawker', we need a referee on this one!
Seem to recall that a photo of this aircraft has appeared before on this forum (or maybe the earlier xsorbit one), but with a registration visible.

John's photo is certainly VP-BLD (c/n 5117), it was stored at Luton for a few years.
3C-QQU (c/n 5082) is current and based at Sharjah.

The eastern j41 I think is a scheduled internal flight ( dijon ?) as the Airbus shuttle is operated by BMI regional emb 145.

Toulouse does have another stored Jetstar, VP-CSM cn5092 which actually flew last year when I was still there. At one time HZ-MA1 cn5105 was also stored at TLS, but it's apparently in a college somewhere now. I managed a shot of her before she disappeared!

Beemer, always a good place to visit, I used to do it as an Easyjet day trip from Gatwick, used to be around £30-40 return, have a slow walk over to the airbus side, do the tour, which then was the A330/340 production side........much more productive than the A380 tour now!! You would always pick a few up as the coach drove round the varous roads to get to the hanger, then 5 or 6 in the hanger itself, as well as frames all over the drome!!! Various good locations for photography around the perimiter as well........and normally decent weather, apart from when I went last year and met Plev! You dont need to hire a car, although it does make life easier when there.
