During a recent stopover here,I was able to take the following photos,The airport is not that busy but has some interesting movements, with based RAF aircraft also. Oman air Airbus A330,S on turnaround Cargo movements were mostly by Russian aircraft, but there was this gem,Star airway intenationation DC8-62 ZS-OSI,very nice! Omanair has areasonably large regional prescence using 737-700,s and 800,s. BAC167 strikemaster of the Oman air force, ther were also Skyvans and a BAC111,which was still complete. VC10 tankers, together with Nimrods and Astors, operate from Seeb. Gulf are currently using two RJ170,S for short haul flights. Air Blue Airbus A321. Taken from my hotel in Mutrah,an RAFVC10 on finals for Seeb, very nice sight and very noisy also!. hope thats of interest.

Thanks for those kind words, both Muscat and Omanair, were a very pleasant surprise,I was sipping mint tea when the VC10 went over my hotel, in temperatures of 95f,But the country is well worth a visit.amazingly all the pictures except the VC10 over Mutrah, are all through glass, either aircraft or bus/terminal windows,so please post your photos when transiting airports like this, thanks again Calflier.
