A visit this this museum, which tells the story of wars through Vietnam,s turbulent past,I combined this visit with a must do visit to the Cu Chi tunnels in the outlying Ho Bom woods/Cu Chi district of Saigon,The War remants museum is close to the Idependence Palace in this amazing city. The amazing Cu Chi tunnels at Ho Bom woods, the entrance has been a bit easier for us larger westerners. inside the amazing Cu Chi tunnels at Ho Bom woods Side exit to tunnel complex. Firing a M60 machine gun,and AK47 assult weapon at the national shooting range at the Cu Chi Tunnels, Quite an interesting visit, and while the last few photos have no Aviation content, they are a related theme to the War remants museum, hope no one minds, thanks for looking.

Fascinating thread!
A fare bit of USAF inventory there.
Imagine the "tunnel rats" on both sides who fought down there, I met an ex USMC Gunny Sgt on an E & E course many years ago who had been in the tunnels, brave guys indeed.
Thanks for sharing,
GC
