Before getting completely distracted by the pre-Christmas preparations, I'd just like to wish everyone on the Forum a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Once again, it is worth mentioning that it is YOU that make this forum what it is - an informative read, superbly illustrated and a debating chamber that raises important issues (and blood pressure at times!!). Please keep up the good work!
All the best,
Dave

God bless us all said Tiny Tim.(I wonder what happened to him.LOL) I don't know what happened to him but I can tell you what happened to the little lad in the centre of the centre row of the photo below. The picture appeared in the Liverpool Echo on the 17th December 2010 in the years gone by section (or something like that) It shows a few members of the Cathedral choir way back in 1968. Just months after it was taken, that little lad bought himself a log book and boarded a number 82 bus at the top of Mersey Road, then got off at the airport. Thus began three years of number crunching and an interest in aviation that's lasted a life time. He's now typing away at his keyboard wishing you all a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year. All the best everyone Steve
