I had this misfortune to make a quick return trip from Nantes to Lyon with Easyjet. Outbound flight was Ok, as was the return flight apart from the two hour delay due to technical problems. (Unspecified.) My gripe is with Lyon Terminal 3. This is an utter disgrace. Constructed from materials similar to a large tent laced up to metal rods, a hard floor which is not even as good on the one in my hangar, filthy and litter strewn, advertsing panels stuck onto the floor, but coming off so people tripped over them. After passing through the gate into waiting area, it reminded me of the pens in the cattle market at Cirencester and the treatment of the cattle, (us) was not much better. Amazingly, the toilet facility, just one, was very clean. I would sure give this place a miss. Be warned. RT

Far too hard on this major international airport---the main terminal(not the loco shed) is very modern, clean and a pleasure to use.A bit bigger than LJLA but not so big you would get lost. I have collected clients from there on many occasions and spotted there too. None of my clients--some flying to Canada others to destinations in UK have ever complained-and the rail interchange is one I would love to see at LJLA
These temporary and semi permanent sheds appear at Ski time usually and are a sort of overflow.--cheap and nasty--yes--but limited to the locos despised by the Gov. of France but not typical of the airport. Sorry you had such a poor experience.

I am not critical of the main airport at Lyon, terminals 1 and 2 which I have used for many years without complaint. My gripe is with the Bedouin style cattle shed which they call Terminal 3 and is the permanent home of Easyjet, Transavia and Arabia Air. What makes things even worse for me, as it happens, the weather on the two days I was flying was CAVOK, all the way, and I could have gone in the Cessna, door to door, in less time.

Ah yes now I understand and am in complete agreement. I met a Belgian there recently who said"Did the French not fight a war against the Algerians?" when I responded to the affirmative he asked why the French had kept all the prisoners. loses a bit in translation but just be glad you don't live in Pakistan where it is open season on Christains.
