Wales's largest coach operator has gone under. The company was no stranger to Liverpool and indeed the airport. It was based in Swansea and specialised in holiday tours / private hire. Obviously, their looking for a buyer but the way things are at present, that's not looking hopeful. Lets hope those already booked get their money back quickly. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-south-west-wales-12137490

Strangely enough I have never heard of this coach firm, but I agree with you I hope someone is found to bail the company out and ensure the job losses are kept to a minimum. Also that people get their money back for holidays already booked. They have said with the cuts that Wales would take the major hit. Bob

A buyer has been found in the name of Edwards Coaches. Edwards are to retain the Diamond name and hope to be able to honour all the holidays and tours that were booked with Diamond. It's not all good news though. Only 8 of the estimated 70 workforce will be retained. Still, better than none. Lets hope they make a success of it.
