A touching story, well done the pilot and Airline.
Is that a RYR 737 in the picture? How inappropriate if it is. Can you see RYR or EZY doing this? not if watching the programme 'Airline' is anything to go by.

When Dan Sales learns to write English correctly, then maybe I'll believe the other stories he writes. But then I suppose it is the Sun...

So it may not true because of the spelling of this and other articles he wrote past or present ? you can`t blame the writers these days as for so many previous school years spelling was NEVER corrected in pupils work ? You also will not need many guesses as to which political party had that idea.

Sadly, we experienced something similar in 2006. We flew Delta from Paris to Orlando via Atlanta at "the drop of a hat" and while we were in Orlando we had to change our arrangements for coming home several times even though we had tickets which were non changeable/non refundable. The help we received from the staff at Delta was phenomenal. We will be fans of Delta for ever. Americans can be the nicest people.

I can only endorse Ron's remarks about Delta. I have flown to Colombia twice, once via Madrid with Iberia and once via Atlanta with Delta and I know which one I will be going with next time. Without doubt the service on the Delta flight was by far the best that I have ever experienced.

I'm not sure what the politics has got to do with it, but they do go to college to learn journalism, and it is their national language, so I would expect accuracy (which is also taught in journalism classes).
Back to the thread. This happens more often than people might imagine, so I'm a little curious as to why this has attracted so much publicity. Perhaps it's because a family member contacted the media.

Politics has a lot to do with the way education has gone down the pan that would be clear to anyone I would have thought. and as for accuracy I agree people should expect it, however not today it seems, read any newspaper and I include some proper ones not just the Red Tops and the grammar and spelling gets worse weekly.
