John, Some nice pictures which have cheered me up on a bit of an overcast day here in Runcorn, although I can see a bit of blue sky to the East. Happy Days Bob

You picked up some nice shots there, were they landing over the lake to start with then? Where were you then, down near where the road goes under the runway?
Having seen these shots all I can say ir roll on May 17th!!!!!!!!!!!

You done well there John with some nice photos. You must have passed the place I meant to get to the GA area. It is a car park on top of a car show rooms that has a cafe (can't spell restaurant) that is the other end of the runway to the tunnel end where the Star Hotel is. Regards Beemer.

Thanks for the feedback guys. My original spot is where the road goes under the runway--let me know the details of your arrival and I will meet you at the airport and take you down there--saves an hour on foot.LOL
Brian--cannot find the car park etc and it is difficult touring around a busy city driving on the wrong side of the road--especially as the Swiss are some of the worst drivers in Europe--believe me I have seen more shunts in Geneva that anywhere else I have driven.LOL Any chance of a google earth or gps reference Brian?I can follow those.
Keep spotting--it was nice to have the sunshine in Geneva in January and it was warm (7 degrees)

John I have Google-Earthed a couple of maps for you the first being large of the r/w 05 end with a red blob in the dead centre where the garage is. This one is a close-up of the garage and you can clearly see cars on the roof. When I was up on there I regularly went into the cafe and bought coffees or beers to keep the owner sweet This is a great position for photos but no use when they are using r/w 23. Regards Beemer.

;D ;DBrilliant Brian--will install that into the Garmin. My spot is diagonally opposite but has no facilities. Great to have cover which ever direction they arrive and land in. May be a while before I use it but Madame may be tempted to a quick cofee and a bun in passing to shop in Geneva.LOL If anyone is coming to Geneva for a spotting day let me know and I will come over to facilitate --gives me an excuse for a visit and photo day--I mean I have to go to help out a friend (any reasonable excuse.LOL)
