No the Woodvale Rally is the 1&2 of august. This is a closed event for people working on the base & their families.

Pitty. I suspect it will give some members the excuse to take the wife and kids to either the squirrel sanctuary or the beach though. Thanks for the August dates, I will put them in my diary.

Should be based at Woodvale I think. The Jet Provost has being doing what looks like a practice display today & yesterday so fingers crossed!

Hurricane is for 5 minute display only at Woodvale and has a 45 minute transit time from Coningsby and then straight onto Rolleston.

Woodvalewarrior (or anyone who may have an answer),
Do you have any idea of the flying and display programme for Saturday's private families day. With knowledge of times I may well take the dogs for a walk in the woods - but don't want to get wet for hours and hours waiting for the Tutor formation!!

To be honest Viscount I don't know, the Hurricane is covered by a NOTAM for 14.45-15.20, so that should be spot on. In the past at these types of events the flying has been spread out across the afternoon.

Correction it is something to do with tomorrow as its the RAF tutor display pilot in the specially marked A/C (G-BYXN?)
