Japan. Before and after photos

Look at this remarkable presentation of the effects on the landscape folowing the 'quake and floods.

We were in Sendai about 9 years ago. I suppose because of that and the people we met, it comes that bit more shocking.

Words cannot describe what has happened in Japan, only to say its an absolute tragedy. The people are so humble despite all what has happened to them.

I thought the Tsunami a few boxing days ago was bad, but this has surpassed that .

Your heart just goes out to the Japanese. Puts things into context, when we think we have problems over here, just cannot imagine how we would cope with a similar situation.

Like you said, when you have visited a particular country/area of same, it does make you think.

However the Japanese survived the H Bombs, and I have no doubt with all their resilience they will survive this tragedy.
