This plane is the exact replica of the Wright's plane the Flyer III. However, the engine is a modern one, a JPX 65, four flat cylinders. It has been built from 2002 to 2008 by the association Sarthe Aéro Rétro, demanded and financed by le Lordmayer of Le Mans, JC Boulard. This man wanted to celebrate the Wright's flying in 1908 at Le Mans, a centrury later. The festival was a success and the plane flewed correctly, but only in strate line on the tarmack of the airport of Le Mans. Actuelly, the plane is into a huge wood box, in good condition; however we think it is impossible to flye evermore with this plane. It took of and land 85 time, in France and Holland. This plane is one of the two which exist in Europe and its immatriculation is F-PMAN. We have not anymore place to save it. It is the reason we sell it. (excuse my poor english writing...) For more informations phone to FR PAYEUR (Président of the association who is the owner of the plane): 0033 243 335 978 and the plane is in Le Mans. It will be exposed at the" Bourse d'échange of collectors cars" in the Parc des Expositions of Le Mans, on April 2 & 3. Ebay Item 300541528712 Info from ad not my spelling.
