Apart from Flightradar24, Casper and Flightglobal Atlas, are there any other similar free sites? IMHO Radar24 is the best, being almost in real time. Casper has a time lag and Atlas says it is 5 mins behind. Atlas is still in Beta mode and improvements are promised.

I use Planefinder.net This is in real time and if you hover the mouse over the plane icon a window opens with all the details, ie. height, speed, direction in degrees, flight No. registration and departure and destination airports. Occasionally one or two details may be missing but that may be down to whoever inputs them. Regards Beemer.

CT, re planefinder I use this on my Galaxy android mobile phone, I started with the FREE version, but upgraded to the PlanefinderPro from a site called Pinkfroot the cost is minute for the improvement on the Free version.

I use planefinder on my galaxy s2 droid thingy. I have to say its great. I paid 3 quid for the full version. Great value. Steve
