Does anyone know what was going on with G-EZBJ, it got my attention because it seemed a lot louder than normal when passing over my house. I checked FlightRadar24 and noticed it was doing a TOGA or something similar. ( Checked on Casper also ) Mike / Speedbird

Mike, the Easyjet G-EZBJ did a go-around due to un-stable aircraft (pilots words not mine) and it was tremendous to see. The aircraft went to touch down and came up again and then appeared to try again before levelling out and then rotating away. I took this photo as he levelled out, not an angle you see an Easyjet in. Regards Beemer.

It makes me wonder what the flight management computers were "thinking" at the time... thankfully, Airbus had ironed out the problem of aborted landings/go arounds since that horrific A320 test flight crash.

Regards Beemer. Reminds me of a working/business trip I made to Guernsey a few years back. The airline was Aurigny and type was an ATR-72-500. Was unusually windy on finals and as the the TDZ came into view from my window the aircraft slammed it's right main gear into the tarmac and immediately the power was back on and we were back aloft. Skipper announced on the PA that the crosswinds were out of the aircrafts operating limits at touchdown. I know GA's happen all the time but when it's after actually making contact with terra firma it just makes it that bit more terrifying! Regards, Garry
