Having recently read a reply from Dovermire in the Merseyside Aviation Society thread, in which he mentioned a ghost, I did a little digging and came up with this. Not about Liverpool though but will post if I find anything.

hi all i live near cefn mawr the area in which some of these so called ghost sittings have been seen.I recall seeing groups of 3 and upto 5 c-130s coming from the direction of nescliff a millitary training ground flying very low,at all times of the day. I once saw ac-130 in between the aquaduct and the viaduct it was actually lower than the bridges it took avasive action on approch to viaduct with avery steep climb,these bridges are over the river dee near cefn mawr
