From comments on other forums, the BBC-1 'One Show' from 7pm on Tuesday 9th August are to include a piece on the 50th anniversary of the crash of Cunard Eagle Viking G-AHPM near Stavanger, Norway on 9.8.61.
Look out for Eric Tarrant who is a member of this forum, British Eagle Historian and involved in the restoration of G-ANCF.

While on Channel 5 at 8pm one of the two projects in 'Monster Moves', is moving a Gannet aircraft from Canada to USA.
I'll delete this thread tonight.

Day correct, date wrong.
TUESDAY, 9th AUGUST 2011.
Now corrected in the title line.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
In the event the BBC dropped the proposed section on the Viking for the London riots aftermath.
Channel 5 did however cover the move of Gannet T.5 XT752/N752XT from Goose Bay to New Richmond, Wisconsin via Minneapolis in 2010.

Thanks for the clarification. Hopefully, they'll show it at a later date. There is little enough about aviation on any of the channels, so it's disappointing but understandable that they've postponed this item.
