Interesting comments on the TAS site this morning
Talking of “alive” you have all no doubt seen the reports of Concorde at Manchester (secretly) having its hydraulics and electrics reactivated only for the project to be cancelled prior to completion, TAS have received many emails from you demanding an explanation, unfortunately TAS do not own Concorde or run the RVP and therefore cannot comment as we don’t know the reasons, however we have asked the question and await a reply.
Anyone know anything about this?

This would pertain to 'Project Flagship', a team of ex-Concorde engineers who were based at Heathrow have been trying to re-activate some of the systems within G-BOAC. But before you get too excited the project's mission is to 'bring it back to life', you won't be seeing it thundering down 23 right (or left) anytime soon! Unless Dr Robert Pleming want's to get involved that is!! Sadly it seems that red tape, bureaucracy and the health & safety brigade have brought an end to the teams' work..... Details can be found here; heritageconcorde.comRegards, Garry
