had 2 yaks divert in to hawarden today at 17:10. the airfield was shut so they caused a bit of excitment. they were part of a 4 ship formation, think 2 went to LJLA. one had a rough running engine hence the divert.
There parked on delta..

Skyhawk G-ENNK has arrived with the pilots for the stranded yak which made an emergency landing yesterday, parked on DELTA.

Must confess I didn't think there was much scope to expand the hours much further,well at least not to warrant a whole new extra team of extra atc bods anyway.
I wonder if they are expecting a lot of extra movements ?
