Royal Navy Sea King HU5 XV673:27, callsign 'Navy 810' carried out a low 'fly through' along RW27L at Barton at 1338 today. It initially routed from Thelwell along the Manchester Ship Canal (passing abeam Barton at 1330) to Media City in Salford (i dont think it landed there?) and then carried out the 'fly through' after a request from ATC at Barton. I understand it departed from Yeovilton but don't know its destination. Also, the Goodyear Airship departed around lunchtime. Cheers Shaun

The Sea King night stopped at Shawbury and was back today and operating around Media City for about an hour.

Just a few, here's one-hope you don't mind me hijacking your thread... Lovely aircraft, although seeing the glow plug light on the panel didn't half remind me of my ratty old diesel Focus ;D Thanks for the look around Cheers Gary
