At Barton 1015 through to 1415 when the light rain started.
Logged all aircraft that were parked on the visitor's ramp areas. Logged over 50, but are additional flexiwings to add that I did not identify. The second successful fly-in out of three under current aerodrome ownership. Organisation much improved over the first. At £1 the entrance fee is hardly worth collecting - and I'm sure is less than I paid around a year ago.
As no one else has attempted a fly-in log for Barton, I'll take up the challenge and probably the flak!

A very enjoyable and active couple of hours. Pity the sunshine of 10am had changed to cloud and light rain within 4 hours. Roll on next year.....

Some good pics there. I was there from about 13:30 onwards till the end of the day (got on the last tour...). I'm afraid my pics aren't anywhere near that quality, and are a large % of the Air Ambulance (which unfortunately I didn't get to see close-up as it went off on a call (I presume..) about 20 mins after I arrived, and wasn't back till just before the end of the tour I was on , and then it was only on the ground for a few mins before flying off again. Luckily I faired better with the police heli, and even got to sit in the co-pilot seat when one of the crew said " "oh, want to jump in?" when I mentioned that the closest I normally get is in flightsim.. (hey, 37yrs old going on 7... ! ) I enjoyed the day, first time I've been but I'd go again for sure. Control tower were certainly busy! My pics are up on flickr at the moment if anyone want's a look (it's mostly heli's...can you tell what I like..) www.flickr.com/photos/urgentemente/sets/72157622298460623/
