Airmiles

Anyone here use Airmiles? It's now changed its name to Avios (another great UK company that has to change its name because foreigners say we have to)

When it was Airmiles it was bad enough at times to find a bargain flight but has anyone tried it now? I've spent hours to find nothing for anywhere and any airline, the only one I found was a trip to Zurich......great! However arrives Zurich in the evening and departs again back to Heathrow first thing the day after. I've contacted "customer services" a few times but just get fobbed off that the site is good and provides a better experience for it's customers. I'll try a few more times and if nothing then it will be Adios to Avios! Bring back Airmiles pleeeeeease

I've used Airmiles for years and had some great deals (New York, Miami, Paris, Nice, Rome etc). I've just booked a shuttle to Heathrow for a trip to Thailand in January and was advised to try and use my miles up before the switch to Avios

Things like these rarely change for the good of the passenger, but I'll reserve judgement until I see what I can get for my merged Airmiles and BA Miles.

Not holding my breath though

A few more hours spent searching on a rare day off. What a waste of time and effort. I phoned the "customer service" again. Another waste of time and money. I tried to e-mail them but this is a joke, I have to be a member of Facebook or twitter to e-mail them.....I give up.

Steve, I came across this article it has a phone number you have to ring before 15th Dec. Not sure if its the customer services number you have already rung it but it's 0844 4933399.

Thanks for those links Ste. The website and customer service are getting worse, it appears its not just ne thats fed up with Adios. The forum on their site makes interesting reading. I'm looking forward to seeing them on watchdog.
