Hi All,
Has anyone got any tips on how to scan a slide?
I have an Epsom scanner but the slides I have scanned come out very dark and I'm unable to get the lighting right.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated, My Dad and older brother have hundreds of slides from the 70's and 80's both from Manchester and Liverpool and it would be great to get some onto the site
Thanks
Ian

Ian I have a Canon Canoscan scanner that has a plastic frame that you slot your slides into and just press the button and it scans, converts to digital nd sorts them into a folder for you. It also has a frame for negatives that scans and converts into positives.Does yours have the same?

Hi Beemer
No, mine is just a flat bed scanner similar to a photocopier

A normal scanner won't work. I would gladly do some for you if you want. Beemer.
