One of my most enduring memories of Heathrow in the early '70s. Leaving the Queen's building and heading towards Terminal 3 you would regularly see East African Super VC-10s parked up against the fence, so close you felt you could almost touch them.
Wonderful times!

Surprised to see East African Airways receive a mention on North West Air News, pleased of course!!
I lived in Kenya in the 50s. I am researching civil aviation in East Africa in Colonial times. Any one out there have photos of any of the following, all EAAC aircraft:- VP-KCU deH 89A Rapide VP-KDG deH 104 Dove 1 VP-KFE -KHA -KHE -KHY -KIA -KIB Lockheed Lodestars VP-KJG Macchi 320 VP-KNU -KTS Douglas C47s.
Any help would be most welcome. Ron, does your friend have any photos he would be willing to share?
