Thanks "Biggles" and "Garstonboy". From your information I discovered that Ice Pilots is available on Freeview but not Freesat which is what I have here. I discovered the programmes have been on Channle W9 in France but looking at the listings they are not currently on nor anything planned in the near future. Quest do not seem to have a service like the BBC iPlayer Looks like I am going to have to be patient.
Thanks anyway. Ron

No, unfortunately not. Often these things are blocked. Usually because of broadcasting rights. I have a trick for working round it with BBC player and ITV player etc, but the same trick does not work for me on this one.
Next time I see my IT friend I will offer this problem to him as a challenge.
Thanks for your help. I will keep trying.
Ron

If he can`t cure the problem I wonder if Amazon or someone has the series on DVD which usually happens with the popular series like this ?

Not good news, according to 'JACDEC'
DATE: 05.03.2012 LOCAL TIME: ~10:45 LOCATION: Yellowknife-Intl AP (CYZF), NWT COUNTRY: Canada AIRLINE: Buffalo AW TYPE: Lockheed L-188 Electra REGISTRATION: C- OPERATION: DSC FLIGHT No.: - FROM: Cambridge Bay TO: Yellowknife VIA: - OCCUPANTS: PAX: 0 CREW: 5 FATALITIES: PAX: 0 CREW: 0 OTHER: 0 INJURIES: PAX: 0 CREW: 0 OTHER: 0 DAMAGE TO AIRCRAFT: substantial / damaged beyond repair?
On approach to Yellowknife the pilots learnt that the right main undercarriage wouldn´t deploy. For over an hours, the pilots made several attempts to lower it, but to no avail. Finally the aircraft was landed only on the left main gear and nosegear. The aircraft came to a stop in snow beneath the runway resting on its right wing and engines. All on board evacuated safely without any serious injuries. Damage to the aircraft is substantial. Flight operations at Yellowknife were disrupted for a couple of hours until the aircraft was removed.
update 7/3/12 JACDEC say reg was C-FBAQ c/n 1039, 53yrs old

The latest copy of "pc pilot" has a down load of a Buffalo airways DC3 . and a link to the Buffalo VA airline. Very interesting if your a pc pilot , The VA airline allows you to fly the flighs you see on the programme. Buffalo are part of the VA set up.
