At last 1410 managed a sighting of Casa016 aided by binos appears to have a Typhoon in tow heading North away from me and camera as usual. Typical I get called away on business from my flat and as I left the dam thing crossed RTB right over my spotting point and I missed it again.

I noticed it on Planefinder as it crossed my flat, sadly also covering the sky above me was 8/8 of rubbish.

Although slightly off topic, there is now a Spanish Typhoon based at Warton for "trials"!!! Don't know if she is playing with the Ec-330, but putting two and two together!!!! :-)
A trip to Warton is called for I think!!!!

I suppose that could have been the one I saw in tow with Casa the other day when I managed to use bins to get an eyeball, there was only the one about.

This visitor adds a whole new dimension to DOT SPOTTING. for me I should have put money on it avoiding Wallasey when RTB again as usual. I could watch it with Bins quite easily at times, even watched a Tornado and a Typhoon in company at separate times. Strangely Casa was trailing quite well, but only when the Typhoon or Tornado flew along side to join or leave did the Chicks show any trail and not for long ? Anyone inform me how they manage to not trail when nearly everything flying at those heights is showing vapour trails. PLEASE NOTHING ON CHEMTRAILS AS AN EXPLANATION. Here is my only near shot of this illusive Dot I took it with my little Lumix with the zoom at max 18x Optical, not that bad from Wallasey as the aircraft was at this point about to head north again but still over the IOM.
