The First section of the new Aircraft Carrier that will be built here!

Shame when it wvwntually sets sail we wont have any aircraft to fly from it or Nimrod's to protect it from Submarines!!!

It just could be that that will be the only part of the carrier the UK gets.

Was at Rosyth about 3 weeks ago and saw one of the two new carrier's bow section on site, no pictures allowed I'm afraid. I believe it was shipped from Devon a few months ago. Looks huge!

The mid section, known as LB03, in CityFlyer's picture was made at Govan.
